Our team is growing fast and currently we are looking for a brilliant Electrode Manufacturing Specialist to join our team. Your main responsibilities will be to improve and define alternative anodic and cathodic catalyst layers (mixing, formulation of slurry/ink, coating, drying, etc.

What role will you play in building a green hydrogen future?

  • Lab-based work to optimise current processes and identify most suitable materials for future generations of our product;
  • Develop new routes for catalyst layers manufacturing, starting from the ink/slurry formulation to the final Catalyst Coated Substrate (CCS) or Membrane (CCM);
  • Characterise the material during each intermediate and ultimate phases using different techniques (e.g. rheology, particle size, surface area, SEM, EDX, XRF etc.) and evaluate correlation with electrochemical performances;
  • Data collection and analysis to support process optimization and decision making

What do you need to help make our goals a reality?

  • First things first: Enthusiasm for the part green hydrogen will play in tomorrow's world and Enapter's role in it;
  • At least Master’s degree in chemistry/materials engineering/material science or other relevant fields;
  • Hands on experience (3+ years) in at least one of the following areas: chemical formulation (e.g. electrochemical devices, pharmaceutical, lubricant, paint etc.), coating of thick layers (e.g. blade, slot die, screen printing, spray, etc.), electrochemical characterization;
  • Experience in materials characterization techniques (e.g. Rheology, SEM, BET, PSA, XRF etc.);
  • Experience in electrochemical devices (e.g. Fuel Cells, Electrolysers, Batteries etc..) is a plus;
  • Analytical thinking and problem-solving skills;
  • Full professional proficiency in English;
  • Excellent communication skills.
