About Enapter and what we do:

Enapter is a rapidly-growing energy technology company with offices in Italy, Germany and Thailand. We develop and produce Anion Exchange Membrane (AEM) electrolysers that enable low-cost green hydrogen production at any scale.

We are looking for an experienced, detail-oriented engineer to support the Product Safety and Certification team (PS&C) efforts within the engineering organization. You will be reporting to the PS&C Team Lead within the Engineering Department, working in an international environment.

What role will you play in building a green hydrogen future?

    • Develop and manage all safety-related tasks (risk assessment, FMEA, Hazop...) of the new developed system/product
    • Develop and manage hydrogen generation product certification processes for EU and non-EU
    • Develop and manage all product safety and certification related deliverables (technical dossier, Declaration of Conformity)
    • Manage interfaces with both internal and external stakeholders (other engineering disciplines or departments inside the company, testing laboratories, Notified Bodies, engineering consultants)
    • Represent Enapter in different Hydrogen standardization organizations/working groups, at Italian, European and International level.

    What do you need to help make our goals a reality?

    • First things first: Enthusiasm for the part green hydrogen will play in tomorrow's world and Enapter's role in it
    • Master’s degree in Engineering;
    • Previous working experience in product safety engineering and/or hydrogen safety and product certification
    • Deep knowledge of the applicable European directives (Machinery, PED, ATEX, EMC, LVD, ROHS, RED)
    • Functional safety expertise according to IEC 61508/61511 would be a plus
    • Team player, aiming to direct accountability for specific topics/products
    • Italian and English languages are mandatory, German is a plus.
