We are looking for a Bid Engineer to join our Enapter Customer Projects Team in Pisa. If you join our team, you will be responsible for preparing and managing proposals for multi-core and integrated single-core solutions. You will also help in developing the team’s processes.

To be a successful Bid Engineer, you should have consolidated proficiency in responding to bids and tenders for the supply of packaged skids or containerised solutions. In addition to this, you should remain up to date with the company’s products, services and latest industry trends. You should also be detail-oriented and able to handle challenging deadlines.

What role will you play in building a green hydrogen future?

    • Support sales colleagues in defining the bid milestone and keep the bid “pace”.
    • Prepare proposal & cost estimation for tender projects in a timely and cost-effective manner.
    • Attend site visits as needed to become acquainted with site conditions and take account of these in technical proposals.
    • Attend technical clarification meetings with clients.
    • Review inputs from functional departments.
    • Be proactive in following-up with stakeholders / subcontractors / vendors to facilitate the proposal bidding process by ensuring contributions from each member.
    • Monitor current competitor prices, new techniques and cost trends.
    • Provide technical inputs at project level to ensure timely completion of estimates.
    • Assist the Sales & Business Development team with technical and costing matters during the process of securing contracts.
    • Carry out technical presentation of project execution plans and provide clarifications and resolve queries.
    • Ensure accuracy and on time submission of prepared proposals.

    What do you need to help make our goals a reality?

    • First things first: Enthusiasm for the part green hydrogen will play in tomorrow's world and Enapter's role in it
    • University degree in Engineering
    • At least 5 years work experience in a similar position
    • Costing and planning experience
    • Experience in dealing with technical projects in a fast-paced and unstructured environment
    • Be able to keep a cool head, quickly solve problems and simply explain complex concepts.
    • Be able to meet tight deadlines when required
    • Be able to work and communicate both verbally and in writing with people of all levels in English (Italian and German are a plus)
