We are looking for an Automation Engineer (m/f/d) to take over the full responsibility to specify, define and design the electrical PLC systems of our large-scale hydrogen electrolysers.

Your tasks:

  • Engineering and implementation of PLC Software in the hydrogen business
  • design control cabinet layouts and cable routings
  • Select components, sensors and actuators for the specified purposes
  • Supervise and monitor the building and installation of electrical cabinets
  • Support and contribute to the build of system control software

Your profile:

  • First things first: Enthusiasm for the part green hydrogen will play in tomorrow's world and Enapter's role in it
  • Bachelor degree in Automation engineering, Technician degree (Techniker) or equivalent
  • Understanding of PLCs und control systems
  • Knowledge in the work with SIMATIC
  • knowledge of relevant norms and standards such as IEC 61439, IEC 60204, EU Low Voltage Directive, risk assessment (ISO 12100), functional safety (IEC 61508) and ATEX requirements
  • Skills in working with software tools such as ePlan is a plus
  • Eager to learn, prepared to take on responsibility
  • Excellent English skills, German level B2 required
